Friends in high places.
Dec. 15th, 2003 09:40 pmAll of a sudden, I'm making friends in high places.
Okay, so it's not like Vanessa is the most popular person in the world or something, it's just weird to me that we hit it off so well today. I never would have thought, but when we were working on our english project today at her house, it was so insane. We are very much alike. We were swapping stories and laughing at each other and at ourselves like idiots. It really does shock me... Vanessa just seems too high for me, you know? It's strange.
And if Vanessa is high, I have no idea how I got to be friends with Emilie. Seriously, she is one of those popular girls who looks like a supermodel, but she always sits next to me in 4th and we have an absolute blast making fun of the class. I don't get it! I guess this friendship didn't really start recently, but it did start in mid-September when she switched seats to sit next to me, and I hadn't mentioned it and just decided I would.
I've always had a bit of a problem making friends. I mean, I'm a fun person. I'm not stupid, I can laugh at myself as much as anyone else, and I almost constantly joke. It's just that, people never approach me. The ones that do, and end up becoming my friends, are ones that I seriously latch on to.
Anyways, I don't want to get into it too much. My fingers hurt.
It's just... abnormal, for me. I really am kind of shocked that I have some of the friends I have. But I shouldn't feel like that, should I?
Well, that's the end. Au revoir.
