It was ridiculously hot today. When I came home after work, I spent a few hours out on the hammock reading, which was really nice. There was a fabulous breeze, and I could smell barbecues and hear kids playing. The unfortunate part was when I returned to my air-conditioned home and found myself with a headache from being out in the heat for too long. Life really stinks sometimes.

Ashley came to visit at work today, and she grilled me about boys, which is a strangely difficult topic at the moment. I've always been very fond of a few guys, and with graduation having just passed, the feeling that I'll never know what could have happened with most if not all of them seems to be making me like them and think about them a lot more than I did before. Oh well. I've got a promise for a few coffee shop dates with one and an entire trip to Europe with another, so I'll at least see two of them again. I hope I don't lose contact with #3, but who knows? Life goes on, of course, whether he continues singing and plotting and insulting and laughing with me or not.

Holy Hannah, look at the time of this post! I paused Supernatural 11:34 into an episode earlier today, too, when my sister walked into my room and caught me by surprise. It's everywhere today!

And now for the main event—a very long meme!

CIRCLE ONE: THE OUTSIDE

1. What's your name
Lynn

2. How tall are you:
5'4"

3. What color are your eyes:
Brown

4. What color is your hair:
Auburn

5. Are you Male or Female:
Female

6. What is your best feature (physically):
My hair, I suppose.

7. What's your shoe size:
7 or 7.5

8. Glasses, yes or no:
Yes, for far away things.

9. Did you ever have braces?
No.

10. On a typical day you are wearing?
Jeans, t-shirt, tennis shoes, socks, underwear XD

11. When you go to bed you're wearing?
A tank top, underwear, and shorts or pajama pants depending on the season.

12. Work out/exercise about how often?
I rarely exercise traditionally, but I count running around my office building all day for Jane. I lost somewhere around ten pounds last summer because of that crazy woman.

CIRCLE TWO: MUSIC

1. Name five of your favorite bands:
Snow Patrol, Five for Fighting, Belle and Sebastian, Harry and the Potters, and the Beatles (of course).

2. Name five of your favorite singers:
Bruno Pelletier, Victoria Clark, Jason Mraz, Anna Nalick, Matt Hales

3. Name three songs you are currently playing nonstop:
"How Do You Do" — Shakira, "The Blues Are Still Blue" — B & S, "Eyes Open" — Snow Patrol

4. Name one song (give lyrics) that best describes your life right now:
Come on! I hate it when people ask this. "The Blues Are Still Blue" by B & S, I suppose.

Look at the kid from school
He's teaching mamas and papas how to be a little cool
He's changing fashion, the way he dress
The tracksuits are old, and the hoody's way too moody
For a kid with the will to funk
He dances in secret; he's a part-time punk

I left my washing in the launderette
You can put some money on it, you can place a little bet
That when I see my washing
The black will be grey and the white will be grey
But the blues are still blue

5. Name one song (give lyrics) that best describes your life one year ago:
Ugh. "Tu Seras" by Emma Daumas.

6. When you're driving, what are the preset stations on your radio:
STAR 101.5 is my standard—it wakes me up in the morning and greets me when I turn my car on before I put in the cassette adapter for my iPod. Hurray for "the best music of the 80's, 90's and today!"

7. What's the last CD you bought?
Snow Patrol, "Eyes Open," I think.

8. Was the last CD you burned an actual CD or a mix:
Hell if I know. I don't burn CD's much anymore, as 1) I have an iPod, 2) my car, which is where I listen to most of my music—work being a close second—distinctly lacks a CD player, and 3) my lappy doesn't have the ability to burn CD's because it's just a generation too old.

9. Name one song/band/singer you're embarrassed to like but do:
I suppose I'm slightly embarrassed that I like Shakira at times. My sister hates her.

10. If you could only attend one concert ever again, it would be:
Jason Mraz, I think. I've listened to a few live recordings of him, and it seems like he's even more amazing in person.

11. Name one band/singer you absolutely can't stand:
I'd have to agree with Sk8 on this one—je deteste Eminem.

12. Name a group you used to like but feel you've grown out of:
NSYNC. XD Though they're still good for background music while reading cheesy/cliched fanfiction. You have no idea how much amusement NSYNC can add to a bad Harry/Ginny angst/romance scene until you've tried it.

CIRCLE THREE: MOVIES/TELEVISION

1. Name your favorite actor:
Why do people still think it is possible to answer a question like this? Ridiculous. Here's a list of a few I can think of off the top of my head: Colin Firth, Paul Bettany, Harrison Ford, Thomas Sangster, and... that's all I've got at the moment.

2. Name your favorite actress:
See above. Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, Nicole Kidman, Maggie Smith—the list of foreign actresses I absolutely adore is pretty long, so I'll stop here. It would be almost impossible for me to name the one I love most, though it would probably be either Emma or Keira.

3. Name your favorite television show right now:
Again! CSI, Criminal Minds, Two and A Half Men

4. Name 3 really cool movies you've recently watched:
Clue, Little Shop of Horrors, Airplane!

5. Your favorite canceled television show:
Out of Practice. ♥ I still can't believe it didn't make it through the full season. I mean, come on! Henry Wrinkler was in it, for Pete's sake, not to mention Stockard Channing! Jerks.

7. Name one movie you wish you hadn't wasted time/money on recently:
The Wedding Date. Actually, that was all the way back on the day after Thanksgiving, and it was only $7, but I haven't really wasted any money on anything else lately and I'm still mad I didn't return it. I would say See No Evil, because that was absolutely the worst horror movie I've ever seen, but it was so bad it was hilarious, so I'm actually glad I saw it. That movie was amazing.

8. You would never watch a movie with:
Michael Moore and/or (horror of horrors, the two together!) Al Gore. God, save me from stupidity and sob stories!

9. Favorite candy/food to watch movies with:
Anything, really. I don't have a special snack just for movies.

10. Three favorite tv channels:
The History Channel, the Discovery Channel (Deadliest Catch? Amazing!), and VH1.

11. Favorite reality show:
Survivor

12. Favorite character on a reality show:
Cerie from Survivor

CIRCLE FOUR: WORD ASSOCIATION
(Write the first word/thing/person that comes into your head when you read this word:)

1. coffee: Derek
2. dog: Mary Jo White XD
3. slut: Claudia
4. candy: cane
5. pole: Santa Claus
6. ocean: shores
7. brave: Harry XD
8. loving: soul
9. cookie: dough
10. death: It was a matter of life after death.
11. life: Now that he's dead, I have a life.
12. child: fifth! :o

CIRCLE FIVE: WHICH WOULD YOU PREFER:

1. Ten guilty men go free OR One innocent man goes to jail for life:
As long as it's not me—

2. Eaten by a lion OR Eaten by thousands of small insects:
Dude. Lion.

3. A life of contentment without love OR A life with love and heartache:
Depends on whether love includes like or not. You can't be content without liking people and having people like you, can you? This is way too ToK. The end!

4. Skydiving from a plane OR Bungee jumping off a bridge:
Skydiving, for sure. I know of way more things that often go wrong with bungee jumping than go wrong with skydiving. I have no idea why someone would spend money to do either, though. Why not put it towards a new computer or something? You'd think people would be intelligent enough not to actively seek out ways to die.

5. No television OR no music:
But isn't there music on TV? Whatever, screw TV.

6. No more pizza, ever OR no more chocolate, ever:
I don't know, giving up chocolate would probably be good for me. Yeah, I'd rather give up chocolate.

7. A trip to Europe OR a trip to Hawaii:
Why the hell would you waste your hard-earned money on a trip to tour a bunch of beaches when you could travel around Europe and see so much more? Unless you have Hawaii in your blood or you've already been to Europe, I see no reason to choose to trip to Hawaii.

8. An hour with your future soul mate OR An hour with a lost loved one:
I try not to dwell on the past or people who have passed. I'd take the time with my future soul mate—curiosity may have killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.

9. No longer being able to cry OR No longer being able to feel the need to cry:
The latter, of course. Why remove the means when you can just as easily remove the need? Much more effective.

10. Sex without love OR love without sex?
That's an odd question, Chuck. The latter.

11. Loving someone who doesn't love you OR being loved by someone you don't love:
Once more, with feeling—the latter! I take care of number one.

CIRCLE SIX: THE LOVE LIFE

1. Are you currently in a relationship:
No.

2. Are you currently looking/interested in someone:
Sort of.

3. Are you a virgin:
Yes.

4. If yes, how long do you plan to be one:
Until I get married, I suppose.

5. How many times have you been "in love":
I'm not sure. I really do love an incredibly large amount of people, but whether I am or have been in love with any of them is debatable. Kevin, Derek, Dane, David, Lawrence, Bryce—I'm about to cry. I love these people too much to never see them again, don't I?

6. Looking back, how do you feel about that person(s) now:
I still love them all, and I haven't stopped loving any of them since the moment I started.

7. Name three things you look for in someone:
Non-physical: Intelligence, wit, and passion. For what is irrelevant.

8. Name three things you look for in someone:
Physical: Fit, dark hair, dark eyes.

9. Your ideal date would be:
Amusing.

10. You want to get married, where, when, how?
Maybe in the fall, in a church, with lots of friends and family. I don't particularly care, I just want us both to be happy and able to make fun of things. One thing I can assure you of is that every child there will have a disposable camera and be taught how to use it. Their perspective is so different in such an amusing way.

11. Does anyone have feelings for you right now that you don't return:
A few might, but I might return them. Can you ever really know unless they tell you and you give it a shot?

CIRCLE SEVEN: THE FRIENDS

1. The one you immediately go to with a problem:
Sam and Lexi first, I think.

2. The most rational:
Lexi.

3. The funniest:
Me! No, we're all way too amusing for our own good. If any of us weren't, we wouldn't be friends—humor is what ties us together, in my opinion.

4. The one you spend the most time on the phone with:
I don't really talk on the phone much. I guess I'd say Lexi, because I called her right after I got my cell and we talked for awhile about nothing, and I haven't had a longer phone conversation than that with anyone since.

5. The craziest (but in a good way):
Teph or Chesty La Rue. Or David! Oh my goodness, David definitely wins. He's going to kill people for me someday. ♥

6. The most honest:
Unhappy Kevin! "I pity your patients." So true, #3, so true.

7. The purest:
Sam? Maybe Teph. Sarah, if you want to go more extended.

8. The smartest:
Pssh, Derek all the way. Kevin as a close second, probably, with the Fab Four right behind.

9. The most athletic:
Natalie or Beth.

10. The one most likely to get thrown in jail and why:
Lawrence for killing someone in a car crash. XD

11. The last one that said "I love you":
Um, me? I don't know. Maybe Lawrence.
