I can't believe Britain's had it for 15 minutes now. That is so unfair. But it doesn't matter because I'll have a US copy in 7 hours, and my British copy has been shipped already!
My cousins are coming over for dinner tonight, so that will be a good distraction. And we got a letter from my brother today. He's in boot camp right now, for the Navy. He says his feet hurt and that he wishes I were there so someone would get his jokes. XD He gets to call us tomorrow. Just one more reason why July 16 is such a good day!
I'm leaving for Borders tonight at 8:40, since it takes me 20 minutes to get there and the list the "party" as starting at 9 PM. I have no idea what they're planning, but I really don't care, because I'll be sitting around somewhere reading Real Simple and the last third of Order of the Phoenix.
Today has been a really good day, leading up to what should be an even better day. At work my labelwriter wasn't working properly, so I was annoyed, but it passed as soon as I had the satisfaction of turning it off and setting it down on the desk a bit roughly, and I was happy again. My iPod has only been shuffling to good songs. I had animal crackers for breakfast. I was totally able to get around traffic on the way to and from work. And the letter! Well, the letter was weird, because his handwriting was different, but it was really good to hear from him even if it seemed a bit strange.
Un bon jour, mes amies, un bon jour!
