Less Than You Think You Are
Nov. 29th, 2004 02:23 amYou know, I've decided something. I'm not going to just let that go. He really pissed me off last week. From now on, I'll make a note every day in my planner whether Joey is at school or not. Sometime in January, his approximately sixty percent attendance will be obvious, and I will have won. It's not like it'll be hard on me at all, either--how hard is it to write "J=abs" or "J=pres" in the margins of my planner? It'll take less than ten seconds. So, for less than ten seconds a day for a month and a half, I will have vindication. I will be able to prove that I was not just being excessively irritable. Joey is gone forty percent of the time, and that shows a complete lack of dedication on his part, and an extreme amount of stupidity on the subject of his present and his future. I was right, he was wrong, Kevin should have agreed, Jenifer should have agreed, Daniel shouldn't have sided with Joey. I was right. I am right.
To be absent is to fail. If Joey is absent, he will fail.
End of story.
