Do the Puyallup!
Nov. 5th, 2004 10:12 pmNo, not that fair! Sigh.
My dad and I ventured out into the city today to go to the National College Fair at the Convention Center. It was interesting. Not too bad, really, even with the crowds, and words cannot express how much I utterly loathe and despise crowds.
I picked up a ton of booklets, fill-in-your-information-and-we'll-stalk-you-we'll-send-you-information-about-us business reply mail half sheets, and tourist packets that some colleges had scattered about, glorifying their town. I spent five hours today going over them all. I was most likely more generous with my color scale in the beginning than I was at the end, but hey, I'll be the one to pay for it, won't I? And do I look like I'm caring?
So here's my top four. It used to be five, but then I realized what FLIPPING MORONS Seton Hall U is comprised of, and removed it from its blue position of power. It is now in the purple category, which is the second to last. Just before pink. Third out of four. Take that, you BLOODY IGNORAMI.
Anyway, they are in no particular order. Just alphabetical.
[*] Franklin College, Switzerland
[*] George Washington University, Washington DC
[*] Hillsdale College, Michigan
[*] Seton Hall University, New Jersey
[*] Wells College, New York
Again, except that this is my second group. Green.
[*] Barnard College, Who Knows Where, I Don't, Because I Forgot
[*] Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania
[*] Randolph-Macon Woman's College, Virginia
[*] Sarah Lawrence College, New York, I Think
[*] Scripps College, California
[*] Vassar, Of Whose Location I Am Also Unaware
(Purple and pink don't deserve to be shown. FOOLS. Mwah.)
So. Yes. What do you think? Any reccommendations? I'm going for poli sci/international relations. The first four are really good for that, and a bunch of all the ones listed are specifically for the liberal arts, so that's good. Hurray for women's colleges. A simple eh for coed schools. Cheers for a poli sci focus, coughGeorgeWashingtonUcough.
Watch me end up at Seton Hall U. I'll be hung for treason at the end of my last semester senior year when they find this essay. Woe is me.
