A Procrastinator's Lament (and War Cry)
Jun. 1st, 2004 12:57 amYeah. I have approximately five hours of homework ahead of me: four for my History ID terms which are all really depressing Nazi things, and one to put the final touches on my English project. I've known about both assignments for at least a week, but have I finished them yet? Nooooo.
Well, that's not giving me any credit. Most of my English project is done. All I have to do is type stuff and cut off the wings of my crayon butterfly. [Insert evil laugh here.] But I deserve no credit where History is concerned. I've done nothing.
Hey, at least I won't have to worry about any of that annoying "you must wake up, it's time for school, even though you are still tired out of your mind and can't concentrate on anything they try to teach you long enough for it to register in your muddled brain" crap. No no, when I pull all-nighters, I am hyper-sensitive to eeeeverything going on around me. I will miss nothing tomorrow. Nothing, I tell you, nothing!
NOTHING!
