vollmusSo, what's your name, to begin with? Lynn. It's my middle name, but it's what I go by online, so nyah.
What Hogwarts House would you be in? Probably Ravenclaw. I'm too sarcastic and I procrastinate too much for Hufflepuff, and I'm not brave enough for Gryffindor. After Ravenclaw, it would be Slytherin, then Gryffindor, then Hufflepuff. My father and brother are Slyths, my mother's a Huff, and my sister is a Huff or a Gryff.
Appearance? 5'5" with extremely fluffy/bushy dark auburn hair just past the shoulders and growing, deepset medium brown eyes, and pale skin with some freckles. Also, I'm a bit pudgy.
The BEDP Test - what's your Boggart (worst fear), Erised (utmost desire), Dementor (worst memory) and Patronus? B: All of my friends and family dead (think Molly Weasley). E: To be completely happy and to know everything I could ever want to know. D: When my mom told us that dad had moved out. P: Some sort of bird, probably a hawk or a falcon (because I love French and Martin XD).
Favourite Hogwarts school subject? Transfiguration/Charms.
Favourite Muggle school subject? History/English.
Are you right- or left-handed? Right.
Your preferred music? Pop, rock, alternative, emo, country.. I love everything except for rap, hard rock, and most R&B.
Who do you love most? My brother David, father John, and friend Vanessa/Maria.
You're left in an empty room for three hours. You can magically get anything they want - except people. When they come back to get you, what are you doing? I'm singing along to my current favorite songs (Falls Apart, Never Let You Go, 100 Years, As Is, Remedy, Letters, She Will Be Loved, This Love, Drops of Jupiter, Drop in the Ocean, Javert's Suicide, etc) while I read bound versions of my favorite fanfiction series, Harry Potter and the Slytherin Connection and sequels, and occasionally jump out of my cushy blue armchair to fence with imaginary opponents.
Would you make a good teacher? Why or why not? Sure. I help my friends in school often, and they get it eventually, so I guess I'm not too bad.
If you had to fight, what weapon would you choose? Why? Either a gun or a katana. A pistol or something because it's pretty simple, and a katana because it would kick arse--or, rather, cut it. Oh yesss.
What (if any) jewellery do you wear? I only wear little gold studs in my ears.
Why do you keep an online journal? So I can express my opinions without vocalising much more quickly than it takes to write everything down, and so people can comment on my opinions.
If you could change one thing about youself, what would it be? The way I look. I think I have a pretty rounded personality; I would rather keep my procrastinatorish tendencies than feel icky because of my Thunder Thighs (my superhero name, from my brother and my dad) or my stomach for the rest of my life.
You walk into a crowded room, and everyone looks up at you. What do you do? Smile (nervously if I don't know them, calmly or happily if I do) and spew a greeting.
What kind of sense of humour do you have? An awesome one. This one time, this old guy put date rape drug in Samantha's tuna, and...
Do you swear a lot? Not a lot, really. Most of the time when I swear I'm doing it to make fun of either swearing itself or of someone else.
Have you ever broken a bone? If yes then why and when? I broke my nose when I was two tripping over my giant stuffed Big Bird that my brother threw at me and knocking into our solid wood bunkbed. I broke my arm when I was seven or so falling down the stairs. I broke my finger when I was 13 babysitting for three girls when one of them started playing with her dad's weightlifting machine and didn't stop when I told her to and dropped the weights down on my finger where I was trying to fix it.
What does your username mean, and how did you get it? Bella means beautiful in Italian, and Lina is Lynn in Hawaiian according to some online name translator thing that Ashley from the SimFreaks Forum posted about. I created my first real website and blog very soon after we had our fun translating our names, and was deciding with Rich what my sn should be (we decided his, too) when I remembered Lina and decided that having two languages in my sn would be pretty cool. That was way back during my Italian obession phase. (Ten points for anyone who knows what my current language obsession is!)
I got that from an article about characterization in fanfiction, and changed it a bit so it said "you" instead of "they." I also changed some of the questions because it's pretty obvious what my username is and if I would keep an online journal if I had access to a computer. I was reading the article and decided to fill it out because I was bored (there's not much to do when you're sick).
