Longest

Here I am on the longest night of the year, feeling perfectly wonderful. I don't know why I am feeling so good, really. It's probably more that I'm not feeling bad, really.

Either way, it feels pretty brilliant. I am as content with myself at this exact moment as I think I have ever been. I'm not thinking about all my stupid mistakes, all my idiocies, all my blunders.

(Well, maybe I am now. I just had to go and say that, didn't I?)

So it's going to be a good night. I think I'll go curl up in my bed with Ella Enchanted and bask in the glory of someone else's life that is purposely fairytale-esque.

O, how I love Chella! It's probably the best ship in the entire world. Who doesn't root for Prince Charming and Cinderella? It's practically a sin. Even Chinese people root for them. I mean, if Chinese people do, and so do Russians, and Japanese people, and Germans, and Frenchies--that's everyone. I'd wager even the Middle East has their own version of the story.

So it's going to be a good night. I'm going to curl up in my bed with Ella Enchanted and bask in the glory of someone else's life that is purposely fairytale-esque. If I'm in the mood, I will ponder the meaning of life and the divinity of every--well, never mind that. But if I'm in the mood, why not? I might end up watercoloring, I don't know. *crazy shrug thing that conveys unknowingness* It all depends on what my mood is, doesn't it?

I have the rest of the longest night of the year to figure out what sort of mood I want to be in.

I never know I'm alive unless I hear random references to Mormons at least every other day. I love it. *blows kisses*
