Beam Me Up, Scotty

I have a feeling I will be posting a lot in here this summer, and that most of it won't be very thoughtful or essay-like as it seemed to be during school, but more "I am SO bored right now," "driving is only fun if you're by yourself, and I'm not, so it sucks," and "semi-goths are annoying, especially when they are your teacher's granddaughter and her best friend."

Oh! Almost forgot to say something about that. Remember those two girls in my driving group who are annoying and always telling people to shut up just quietly enough for the person to not hear? Well, one is our Driver's Ed teacher's granddaughter, and the other is her best friend, who our teacher knows pretty well.

Please, kill me now.

Mr H didn't trust me nearly as much as he trusted them, thought I wasn't the worst driver at all. Her kept grabbing the wheel from me and putting on his break when he didn't need to. It really pissed me off

They cracked up in the back seat whenever I made a single mistake, like going over the stop line at an intersection in a small neighborhood, or hitting the curb when I parked. I didn't hear either of them laughing at each other's mistakes. Whatever -- they didn't change lanes as well as I did, stop as smoothly as I did, take their turns as well as I did, or go on extremely windy and narrow roads like I did. I wasn't the best the first time through, but I was by the second time. So nyah.

Ah, the calming powers of music. Every time I feel alone, I can blame it on you, and I do, oh..

It's Friday!

Okay, so not really -- but since Driver's Ed is only Monday through Thursday, it sure feels like it to me!

Maybe I'll have a bit more fun driving over the weekend without talking about it for two hours straight at the ungodly morning hours of eight to ten.
