So. A new layout. I got on a Keira Knightley kick when I saw her picture on the cover of Parade in the Seattle Times/Seattle PI and decided to get more pictures and then make a blend, but then I got stuck on how awesome the fabric of her skirt looked in this one picture, and created my icon instead. I then decided that it didn't match my layout (though it didn't look bad with the blues and greens) and put in whole new colors (purples, yellow-oranges, pinks).
At first it was really dark and really ugly, but it gradually got lighter and cooler and became what you see in front of you. I like it. I don't like the main content part so much, but I love the colors on the sidebar.
If you want to compare, click here to see a picture of the old layout in a new window (though it's from my Mac IE, so the side of the main content is messed up, things aren't centered where they should be, etc). I'm not sure which one I like more.
I'm actually very surprised at how this layout turned out. I'm feeling depressed, ignored, neglected, unloved, etc right now, so pinks and yellows aren't the colors I would expect myself to use.
Or maybe they are. I always have liked hiding my emotions by displaying the vague opposite.
Which is why I love the title of the layout. How very me.
