Singing in the Rain
Jan. 23rd, 2004 10:30 pmI went on a nice long walk today in the rain, listening to music the whole time. It was wonderful. The rain was so refreshing.
In Western WA, we get a large amount of rain every year... I'm thinking that I will start to like the rain if I can take walks like today's more often.
Right here, right now, I am making a resolution for my new year, fourteen and a half days away or not:
Everyday, I will walk my path through the gigantic neighborhood at least twice.
Without a PE class, I hardly ever get any excersize, so this will be my excersize program that has the added benefit of being a stress-reliever.
I wrote a note before I left and put it on the stairs; it said, "Going for a walk. (4:06)" When I got home, my brother asked me if I was upset or something. It was very amusing, because I was feeling better than I have in a long time, even compared to yesterday when I turned in my paper. I think he got the hint when I started cracking up, and after that we had a long discussion about nothing, as we often do on the spur of the moment. The conversation was very amusing, but serious at the same time.
My brother is wicked/"iniquitous." XD [Mr Brown is the coolest.] I can hardly believe how close we are now, it's amazing. I didn't know that siblings ever got to be very close, none of my friends really like their siblings at all.
Not much else really happened today. My history test was easy; all the questions people asked about it after the test were ones I could answer or answered right on the test anyways. French was very simple, only two pages, and I know the material that was on it almost by heart. Piece o' cake. /grin
