My siblings (Juli, 19, and David, 17) and I were just watching Pirates of the Caribbean, and we decided we wanted them to make a movie about Jack's life. Or his career, at least. Particularly the adventure in Singapore and the time when he impersonates a priest of the Church of England. XD

We decided this in between all of my sister's and my swooning, of course.

Beside the point, that. Well, anyways...

We have so many lines from the movie memorized now. All the three of us have to do is watch a good movie together, and we memorize half of it and start quoting it to each other (and people who have absolutely no idea what we are talking about... *coughmothercough*)... for example, when there is any lull in conversation during the next week, my brother will be saying, "But why's the rum gone?"

He doesn't drink rum, of course.

Beside the point again, that is.

These next couple days, especially, will be full of PotC references and many, many laughs. And, once the novelty wears off a bit, we'll begin to forget some of the lines, but there will be a day where one of us remembers... I promise you, not one of us will be standing at that moment.

We will be laughing much too hard for that.

'I desire' to post something here right now, but I have no idea what to say. Absolutely nothing is going on right now, to be honest.

Ooh! It's snowing! My mom just came in and told me it's been snowing for about 20 minutes, since just past nine. How exciting! It's the second snow of the year, here... it there's still snow tomorrow, it'll be so beautiful! I mean, we never have white Christmases here, let alone white New Years...

It looks like we are so cut off from the world when it is snowing... If we look out of the gigantic windows in the bonus room, you can only see darkness beyond the houses across the street. It creates the illusion that this little group of houses is the only one to exist. It's astounding.

Makes me feel like reading The Polar Express. XD I love that book... it's got to be my favorite Chistmas book in the entire world. Every Christmas I wish I could have an adventure like that, a trip to a place that is so wholly magical that it would be nearly intoxicating to a non-magical being... shivers.

That book is just one of the things that shows my obsession with all things magical or just beautifully impossible. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Ella Enchanted, Holes, Pirates of the Caribbean... I just love them all.
