Point and laugh.

Everything has been way too weird lately. First, it snows. How strange is that? I mean, it hasn't snowed in my area this side of Christmas in forever. This brings on the covering of the road we drive to school on with ice, making 1/8 of our trip take forty minutes when it usually takes three to five. This brings on a call home, and our parents let us stay home because the trip will take too bloody long. This brings on two hours of freedom and happiness as we hang out doing nothing, before we get a call from our parents saying that the roads are clear now and that we have to go to school. This brings on possibly the easiest math class I have ever had, the most annoying lunch ever, the coolest Theater Appreciation play reading ever (I'm reading Dorine's part in Tartuffe by Moliere, and she is bloody awesome), the most embarassing turning in of a project ever (did he HAVE to look at the cover?!), and the watching of the weirdest bunch of re-written ancient Greek plays in existence (one of the three plays performed that day had elevator music playing in the background!?... it was hilarious, but very weird).
If I could point and laugh at any day in my history, Friday the 20 of November 2003 would be one of those days.

Guess what, though! I got sixteen hours of sleep last night! *happy snoopy dance* Can't get much better than that, baby. :D

I wonder...

...how this blog could work out. I like the templates a lot more than the lj ones, and lj is pissing me off, but bd has ads. *gag*

Just need to post another entry to get the full effect of any layout I put up. While we are kind of talking about it, I have never known when to use effect/affect. It really ticks me off. Do you know? Want to explain? Bah.

Yeah. So, I'm setting up a layout, completely winging it, so be nice and don't comment on the layout, kay? XD I am also doing about a billion things at once at the mo, so I'll be lucky if I do anything that lasts more than five minutes to the layout today, and I bet I won't even finish by tomorrow. Leaving a layout incomplete is a big problem for me, but because I'm doing all sorts of things online and I have to work on some school stuff and go to church tomorrow, there is a severe lack of time devoted to this site which was not in my plans for çe weekend. Regarde, je n'ai pas -- ok, I'm talking in French. What is it about the phrase 'this weekend' that makes me say it in French, and try to continue in the language? With my minimal knowledge of French, this is definitely a problem... and so are my run-on sentences. Jeez!

You know what? I'm actually thinking that this is it for now. I mean, all I was really doing to the layout was changing the colors a bit, and I'm finished. So, unless I get some brilliant idea and decide to put up a new, awesome layout, I'm leaving this up for my two-week trial period.

WTF is my two-week trial period, you ask? Or maybe I'm just putting words in your mouth. It doesn't matter, becasue I'm going to answer anyways! See, I just started using my live journal last weekend, and now I'm already hating it. So I decided that this blog, because it's new and a blog system I haven't used before, will have a trial period before I actually link to it in my sig on boards and stuff. I don't really care if people I don't know yet read it or comment (definitely appreciated, though), I just want to figure out if I like it. There's no point in telling my friends about my new blog one day, then the next telling them that I won't be using it anymore. Make sense? I hope so, because the explanation is confusing me, and it's my idea in the first place.

Well, that's it for today. Hopefully this isn't it for forever, because I really am getting sick of lj. I will type to you later, though this (obviously) depends on: (1) you coming back and reading again, (2) me actually typing again, and therefore (3) me liking bd.
