Shut Up! or, And Then There Were Four

vollmusSo I had a drive today after Driver's Ed. I called Marie at work to tell her that I wouldn't be in until around one, and we left a bit later after we practised paralel parking. We went on I-5 to practise freeway driving, and it wasn't going too badly.. until it was my turn to drive.
Do you know what really ticks me off when I'm driving? Two girls in the back seat snickering whenever I make the slightest mistake. I can't tell you how much I wanted to just scream at the to shut up, or reach back and choke them until they couldn't giggle anymore. Who would be doing the laughing then, eh?
After DEd (I like that; it sounds like 'dead') my dad took me straight to the office for my first day of work. I went in, talked to the receptionist, and waited for Marie to come down. She was going to introduce me to a bunch of people, but it ended up being more like ten because everyone was at lunch. After Robert, one of the techies, took my picture and made me my id card, they showed me around a bit before we found Abby helping out Roberta. I was enlisted to help, and Abby and I worked on things for Roberta until four, which is quitting time until Labor Day when it's changed to four-thirty.
Abby was fun and really nice. She said super more often than I said hi, which is no mean feat, and made me laugh a bit. I hope I'll get along with Ashley and Brandon just as well, because work definitely won't be awful if I do.
